not after you have beat it 300 times in the past, no it is not as much fun, especially knowing there is no REAL reward in the end. and who said anything about greedy? ToPK should have the same status as FOW, UW, Depp/Urgoz, Sorrow's etc. since it is an elite area, just seems to be forgotten when it came to end chest reward.
at this moment hardly anyone farms it, since fow/uw etc. offer much better reward for the same amount of time spent.

Could it be that this was left this way for a reason? Is this some sort of link into plot of GW2 and that changing it now would mess with the story bubbles of GW2? Just a thought. Most game designers do not accidentally overlook things like this. Food for thought.

And this is why the area is dead. Because if you are not a ranger, necro, or monk you won't get into a group. When Tombs came out you were able to find a group of any mix of professions. Didn't take too long before the B/P was figured out and then it was all over.
/signed BUT change it up so the standard builds no longer work.

If this is true, post the screens in the Fastest Elite Area thread. I'd love to get some Tombs action in that thread.
On topic: Tombs definetely deserves a statue at least. I'd think it be cool if they added in some sort of end chest, but I'd be happy with just the statue

The only reason BP is ideal here is because of Fingers of Chaos and the tight paths make an MM a perfect body block. Perhaps if they removed Fingers of Chaos we would see more balanced groups, but then again we would also see more farmers.

I remember when I only had Prophecies and everyone thought Rangers were bad for everything apart from this, and Hell's.
I farmed it like 100 times, got crappy greens, and it deserves a decent reward. One worth playing it again.

It was fun to do for about a month until the greens were farmed out and better skins came along. It really does need to be revamped.

GW2 takes place hundreds of years after GW1. There is no link to GW2 hidden in GW1 beyond the Hall of Monuments, which is far from hidden.

The changes needed in the Tombs are the following ones:
- Repeatable quest. One of the NPCs in the outpost will give a repeatable quest. 1k and 15 XP wouldbe a goo reward for doing it. The quest is finished by killing the Darknesses.
- Reward chest. There will be only one, that will drop 1 non-green rare boss drop (materials, rare equipment, etc) and one random unique (green) from the their drop list for each party member that uses it. 2 drops of each in Hard Mode. That way if you get one of th funny green items, the other reward may still be good. The Darknesses will no longer drop items.
- HoM statue.
- Dungeon icon. Sorrow's Furnace, Urgoz, the Deep, the Tombs and the Anguish will get their respective Dungeon icons, with a chest once they are finished once in each mode.
- Replace timers with rifts. Instead the timers that appear when you clear an area, some of those dark rifts will spawn in various places of the area. Players will then have to 'talk' with the rift to teleport to the next area.
* Aditionally, if players are too slow or take too long to use the rift, Margonites and other Nigthfall demons may spawn from the rift. To prevent they been farmed and making them just a downside for slowpokes, they will drop nothing and give no XP.

Agreed with the above^ Got nothing to add except:
